Our Management Team

Management Committee

Larool Pre-school is proudly community based, managed by a dedicated parent management committee and shaped by the community, for the community. These dedicated committee of parents are elected at our Annual General Meeting each March.

The Management Committee acts on behalf of all families in the pre-school community, working to reflect the voices and values of our members. In partnership with the Director and assisted by the Administration Manager, the committee volunteers their time to oversee Larool’s governance and operations. The committee meets twice per term in the evenings at the preschool. If you'd like to get in touch, you can email the Management Committee.

Our Educators

Our caring, passionate and highly experienced educators form the heart of Larool. Each class is led by a university qualified Early Childhood Teacher, supported by a dedicated team committed to professional growth and reflective practice.

Our educators make an important contribution to the culture of our Pre-school; working together to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel valued and supported to reach their full potential. We support each other in word and in action as we educate and care for the children of Larool Pre-school.

A University Trained Teacher leads in each class, alongside two educators who hold their Diploma in Children’s Services or Certificate 3 in Children’s Services.

Additional educators are employed to support classes and their needs.
All teachers and educators have a current working with children check clearance, first aid certificate and CPR qualifications, along with child protection qualifications.

Social Committee (SPLAT)

SPLAT (Social Parents of Larool Activities Team) is our Social and Fundraising Committee, elected annually at the AGM and operating as a sub-committee of the Management Committee. While SPLAT organises occasional fundraising, its main focus is building a strong, connected community through social events for families and staff.

We deeply value the time, energy and creativity each SPLAT member brings and we encourage all families to get involved. Your contribution to Larool fosters a sense of belonging for everyone in our preschool community.

Family Partnerships

At Larool Pre-school, we believe that families are a child’s first and most influential teachers. We deeply value the role families play in their child’s learning journey and are committed to building strong, respectful partnerships. We honour each family's unique background, culture and values, creating open, meaningful and collaborative relationships together.

Whether it’s sharing ideas, joining events or contributing your strengths and experiences, your participation enriches our whole preschool community. Throughout the year, we host a range of family events, celebrations and special experiences, creating opportunities to connect, share and grow together.
Larool Pre-school is a not for profit, community based pre-school, proudly serving families since 1972.
